Summary

Primary care coordinator of interdisciplinary patient care activities and responsible for the management of patients throughout their continuum of care at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Responsible and accountable for high quality patient care through implementation of the nursing process including assessment of patient needs (physical, psychosocial, educational), design of a collaborative plan of care, implementation of the plan with appropriate delegation of tasks, coordination of team effort, and evaluation of patient progress towards outcomes. Acts as a patient/family advocate, she/he seeks opportunities to communicate and coordinate patient care activities throughout the continuum in collaboration with other members of the Health Care Team.

Schedule

Minimum Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. RN required. BSN required for all new graduates

Minimum Experience

NSS: Two (2) years of nursing experience required. BSN preferred. 

Two (2) years of nursing experience required if no BSN

Critical care or PACU/ Recovery Room experience preferred.

Required Credentials

(LC: RN TN)Must possess a current Tennessee State Board of Nursing license if primary residence is Tennessee or a Nurse Licensure non-Compact state

(LC: RN ARK or RN Miss) Must possess a current State Board of Nursing license in the state of primary residence if the state is a Nurse Licensure Compact state
