As a Clinical Research Associate in the Department of Psychology, you will perform a range of activities including participant recruitment and consenting, psychological testing, data entry and management, review of study documentation for quality assurance, assistance with study planning and oversight, and communication with regulatory bodies (e.g., IRB). Experience with psychological testing is strongly preferred; typical batteries include measures of intelligence (e.g., WISC), executive functions (e.g., DKEFS) and parent report measures (e.g., BASC or BRIEF). Working to improve cognitive functioning among children with catastrophic illness makes this position both professionally and personally rewarding. Minimum Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a related biomedical/behavioral field required
  • Master's degree preferred

Minimum Experience

  • Two years of experience in clinical research, research, or related field required with Bachelor's degree
  • No experience required with a Master's degree in a related field

Other Credentials

  • Certification in clinical research from the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA) or the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) must be obtained within three (3) years of assuming the position
  • Must have a valid driver's license from the employee's state of residence and a valid insurance policy on the vehicle which meets the requirements for the state of Tennessee
