Currently seeking a highly motivated, collaborative and program development motivated individual who can provide coordination for the St Jude Resilience Center to include promotion, communication, and management of resources that advance the health and wellbeing of employees.

This will be an opportunity you to coordinate and provide counseling and support services for hospital employees as related to the work of the Resilience Center.  

You would also serve as a resource for internal and external support services and make referrals as needed to facilitate employee access to such services.


The work schedule for this role is Monday -Friday 8a - 5p however, individual must be available for rotating shifts as needed.

Minimum Education

  • Master's degree in Divinity, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Counseling, or Mental Health Counseling
  • If background is Divinity, must have completed 4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education
  • Board Certification by the Association of Professional Chaplains is required within two years of hire. If background is in social work, counseling or psychology, appropriate state license required

Minimum Experience

  • 2 years' experience in counseling required
  • Previous experience in grief counseling preferred
  • Experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
  • Demonstrated crisis intervention and community referral skills. Experience in program management and developing psycho-social services to clients preferred

Required Credentials

  • (LC: PSYTN-MSO) Licensed in the State of Tennessee as a Psychologist with Health Provider designation.
  • (LC:LCSW-TN) Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the Sate of Tennessee; or
  • (LC:LPC-MHSP) Licensed Professional Counseling-Mental Health Service Provider

Other Credentials

  • (LC: APC-CERT) Board certification by the Associate of Professional Chaplains required within two years from date of hire.
