In the Department of Surgery, clinical research data is actively changing protocols and leading to promising outcomes.


The surgeons on our team need help gathering data in a timely manner. As a Clinical Analyst on our team, you will compile reports from the surgery database, match diagnoses with surgical procedure codes, and assist with data collection for quality improvement projects. Given the proper skill-set, you will build a database to retain all dataset requests “in house” for subsequent access and reporting. In this role, you are also expected to attend research meetings and work collaboratively on more than 40 ongoing clinical research projects. Minimum Education

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Nursing, Computer Science, or related field
  • Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing is preferred.

Minimum Experience

  • Three years of experience in clinical research, clinical trials, nursing, or a medical or scientific background required, including one year of experience in clinical database/system applications support and/or development.

Other Credentials

  • RN License preferred
