Under the general supervision of the Unit Manager promotes staff accountability by following the ANA Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice, ANA Code of Ethics, and the mission, vision, and values of Patient Care Services. Serves as a supervisor/mentor to staff to meet organizational and professional standards and support the mission of SJCRH. Participates in administrative, clinical, staffing, quality improvement, and problem solving functions.

Minimum Education

  • Graduation from a school of nursing is required. RN required. Hem/Onc, BMT, and/or ICU training or equivalent experience required

  • BSN must be obtained within three (3) years of assuming the position.

Minimum Experience

  • Two (2) years of clinical nursing experience required.
    Supervisory/management experience strongly preferred

Required Credentials

  • (LC: RN-TN) Must have a current TN State Board of Nursing License if primary residence is Tennessee or a Nurse Licensure non-compact state.
    (LC: RN-ARK or RN-MISS) Must have a current State Board of Nursing License in the state of primary residence if the state is a Nurse Licensure Compact state
